the sunlight
through window pane
traces yellow spotlights
dust motes
highlighting golden
hairs sprinkled across
the back of your hand
curled dark
around the fretboard
fingertips caress
soft chords
clear notes
face intent, absorbed,
joyous with words yet unwritten,
harmonies not yet played
Sigh-
To be the rosewood
warm under your hands,
making music with you.

This captures a moment perfectly. I have watched a lover ‘caress soft chords’, and have also been the guitarist playing for my love. Wrapped in sunshine.
Hold the moment close.

Nice, liked this alot. The guitar is a very sensual instrument in the right hands!

Thank you! For both the lovely comment and for stopping by! I agree. The guitar is quite the bridge to romance, I think anyway.

You’re welcome, I enjoy your words very much. Guitar music is stimulating, dreamy and allows you to enter a world that connects deep within your soul. To dine on music is like feasting on a romantic banquet and you can never get enough to satiate your lust!
