your callused finger
traces faint patterns in the stars
across blackened sky…
finding Cassiopeia
in the freckles on my skin

You’re back! Love the poem. May 2017 be filled with blessings for you and yours.

🙂 thank you! I made a resolution to do things that are good for me this year…and writing is one of them. 🙂 I’m going to try anyway!

How are you and yours? I think of you often when I’m driving through Ohio…even though you aren’t there anymore. 🙂

Bill and I are doing well. I’ve been working twice a week at a tea shop, but it’s going to be closing in February. Both girls were home for Christmas, which was lovely. If you ever get to the Chicago are, let us know!

I WILL! I hope to – but after driving so many hours back and forth, its hard to willingly add 3-4 more on. 🙂 However, I’m sure it would be worth it!

    Hey Mims!!! Long-time no press!
Me too. Life threw a tool box full of monkey wrenches at me in 2015-16 but I’m working on digging myself out.
And Yes–doing more of what is good for me.

So good to see your words! Missed that girl with the pearl earring.
This is exactly what I think of as Classic Whimsy Mimsy Style. The sensual touch. So You!

Hope to see you round here much–getting ready to ditch the whole social media thing in favor of Real People and Real Words.

    Much love–

Hi Johnny! I know. I just let myself get so busy…that I let things that are important to me as a person slide. 🙂 Good luck getting back on track as well! I always love to see the dragonfly …
